Frequently Asked Questions

Everything attorneys and case managers need to know about how the CreoRx pharmacy lien card works.

How It Works
How to enroll a client?

The law firm or the client enrolls online. The attorney acknowledges the lien in the CreoRx portal. The client receives a CreoRx card by text or email that covers their injury-related medications at 67,000+ pharmacies nationwide.

How do clients get a copy of the pharmacy card?

Once the client is enrolled and the attorney acknowledges the lien in the portal, the client receives the card by text message or email — same day, automatically. The CreoRx portal is available 24/7, so enrollments and acknowledgments can happen anytime.

How do I know when my client has used the card?

Every prescription fill triggers an invoice that's automatically emailed and faxed to your firm the next business day. You can also view bills and statements in the attorney portal in real time, 24/7.

Card & Activation
How long does it take for a card to be activated?

Up to 30 minutes after the attorney acknowledges the lien in the portal. The portal runs 24/7.

How does my client know if the card is active?

Once the client receives the card by text or email, it's active within 30 minutes.

My client's card isn't working — what should I do?

Check the attorney portal first — verify the client's account is active. If the account is active and the card still isn't working, contact CreoRx team at (877) 273-6791.

Pharmacy Coverage
Can my client use the card at their local pharmacy?

The CreoRx pharmacy card is accepted at over 60,000 pharmacies nationwide, including Costco, Rite Aid, CVS, Target, and Walgreens. Use our pharmacy locator to confirm whether a specific pharmacy is in network.

Managing Limits
What if the client exceeds the limit on the card?

The portal automatically deactivates the card and notifies your firm's team member assigned to that client. Adjust the spend limit in the portal to reactivate — no call required.

Medications
What medications are covered by the card?

There is a preset formulary that includes generic medications related to the acute phases of auto injury. If a patient attempts to fill a prescription unrelated to the case, it will not be approved at the pharmacy.

Settlements & PIP
Do you offer lien reductions?

Yes. Reduction requests must be submitted through the attorney portal only. We respond within 4 hours.

Do you bill the PIP?

No — for no-fault states, we can only activate a card under a lien from your office once the PIP has been exhausted.
